FABRIC SUGGESTIONS - Lightweight cotton, silk or polyester fabrics with drape, such as lawn, voile, viscose (rayon), crêpe de chine, habotai, charmeuse. Avoid slippery fabric if you’re a beginner. Plain fabric will show the tucks better than patterned fabric.

• Fabric – 1.8m x 150cm wide (2 yards x 60in) OR 2.4m x 115cm wide (2 ¾ yards x 45in)
• Matching thread
• 7 x 15mm (5/8in) buttons
• Iron-on interfacing (about 30cm/12in, similar weight to your fabric)
• Sewing machine and basic tools
