Eamon Baby Blanket Pattern
The Eamon Baby Blanket pattern by Debra Kinsey Knits is knitted in eight strips and joined using mattress stitch. The strips consist of eight blocks of colour with an off-centre textured pattern adding an extra element of interest. The side borders are picked up and knitted out in garter stitch.
There are four colours used in this blanket, but you could also use just two or three colours. When you purchase the pattern you also receive a separate pdf showing the 4 colourways this featured blanket has been made in:
Australian Superfine Merino by Cleckheaton 8 ply
100% Australian Superfine Merino 65g/2¼oz balls 130 metres/142 yards
Colour A: 5 balls or approx 650 metres or 710 yards
Colour B: 2 balls or approx 260 metres or 284 yards
Colour C: 2 balls or approx 260 metres or 284 yards
Colour D: 2 balls or approx 260 metres or 284 yards
The border is knitted in Colour A.
If you wish to make the border in Colour B, C or D you will need 3 balls more of that colour and only 2 balls of Colour A.

Colour A (smoke shade 43),
Colour B (silver shade 68),
Colour C (forest shade 57) and (stone shade 05)
